What was tested

Check Version Result
claude plugin validate Claude Code 2.1.300 (2026-10-15) and 2.1.301 (this package, 2026-10-15) Passed. Calls listed: clock.every, clock.now, command.register, fs.read, state.get, state.set, ui.open, ui.resolve, ui.status. No fs.write, no network, no process.
tsc -p (type check) types generated by 2.1.300, and by 2.1.301 for this package No errors.
claude plugin test 2.1.300 and 2.1.301 3/3 passed: (1) /today reads content/today.json and the pane draws every post, on the terminal and desktop test surfaces; (2) a missing file is said plainly («not found»), not drawn as empty; (3) an edit to the file shows within 3 s (the test fails if the clock only moves 100 ms).
Live run Claude Code v2.1.300, Linux container, claude --plugin-dir, in tmux 120x40 /plugin showed «1 mod active · safaa-today»; /today opened the pane; the status line appeared under the Prompt; the pane redrew by itself twice after the file was edited (Script todo → draft, then Render todo → draft), without typing /today again.
Live run of this package Claude Code v2.1.301, same setup, with example/today.json copied to content/today.json /today answered «Dashboard: 3 posts.» and drew the 3 example posts; the status line read «اليوم: 0/3 نُشر · 1 جاهز»; after setting posted: true on post 1 the pane showed «● Posted» and the status line «1/3 نُشر» within 5 s; /plugin showed «1 mod active · safaa-today».

Differences from the version in the reel

The reel shows the same code with Arabic labels. For this public package only display strings changed: the pane title and header say «Dashboard», the /today reply is in English, and the test data uses neutral example titles. The logic, file path, state and calls are unchanged. The checks above were re-run on this package.

Not tested

  • The Claude Desktop app and the VS Code extension (the desktop surface was only exercised inside claude plugin test, not in the real app).
  • macOS and Windows (only a Linux container).
  • A session started from a folder other than the project root: the path is relative, so the pane says content/today.json not found (by design, not a crash, but not tried live).
  • How Arabic titles look in your terminal: a terminal without bidi support shows Arabic letters in stored order.
  • Large files (we used 3 posts).
